The pointed pen is not just for writing beautiful Copperplate and Spencerian script. The pressure-and-

release technique of this writing tool is perfect for creating any number of delightfully flourished forms to

reflect a given season or celebration. This one-day mini workshop will focus on Valentine themes.

The class is open to all levels; indeed, beginners are especially encouraged to sign up. What better way to

practice the basics of the pointed pen than by creating eye-catching designs. This will not be a lettering

class per se. However, tips for incorporating lettering into your designs will be discussed.

A [minimal] supply list will be sent to participants in early January.
