ONGOING STUDY GROUP

North Village Branch Library Study Group
This one meets the THIRD Wednesday of every month.
1:30 till 3:30
At this time, we are conducting an inclusive "Round Robin" exchange. Every month, participants create a page for a new person. There are group themes each month and favorite colors that are used as guidelines as well as a certain size and format. At the end
of the exchange, the group will get together and have a fun day painting covers and putting the pages into their own "Japanese Stab Binding" book format. We will reveal them at a general meeting----not too far in the distant future.
There are 16 participants committed to this endeavor and it has been very successful by actually having a deadline to adhere to as well as getting feedback and inspiration as each participant narrates how they were inspired to get to the final piece. Participants also share mediums, tools and techniques they used. Right now, this is an inclusive group due to the intricacies of the "exchange" but others are welcome to come and see the "mini masterpieces" that evolve each month.
Some members, who are not exchanging pieces, have decided to do a piece for themselves to keep the creative juices flowing and to be part of the group as a whole! It's a wonderful conglomerate of creativity and passion which is an integral part of our guild that we hope will spill over to every member at the general meetings.
Come for the fun and there will always be SOMETHING you will learn, see or get inspired by! Everyone is Welcome...
