Spring 2010 Exhibit “Travel/Places” Austin Bergstrom Airport February 13-May 13th, 2010 http://www.ci.austin.tx.us/austinairport/nr_callig_310.htm
We are proudly exhibiting 12 pieces by members: Alison
Hanks, Abbey Hutchison, Dee Day, Sue Costa, Holly Zeiner, Kate
Bergquist, Jennifer Smiley, Pat Price, Amy Lear and Barbara
Whitehead. The
only way you can view this is by having a ticket to fly somewhere... as
it is behind the security check in. If you ARE flying out before
May, it is located in the glass cases by the Salt Lick on the way to
the Ladies Room.
Time to grab your passport and take a vacation – a creative vacation! CCS has again been invited to exhibit our work at the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport beginning February 2010. In the past, we have exhibited at the airport and received rave reviews plus gained new fans and a few new members along the way. We are honored to be asked to return to this venue and our members have embraced the challenge once again to submit a creative work.
The theme of the exhibit is “Travel”. Our guild is being represented to travelers from all over the world as well as locally. For more info or for additional questions, please contact Holly Zeiner at holly.zeiner@austin.rr.com Here are some of the pieces that were in the show at the airport. (2010)
